Well the 2023 season is off with a bang and the 65th Running of the Great American Race is over and the teams are already packing up and heading off on the long drive from Florida to California for next week’s Auto club 400 at the Auto Club Speedway and the championship is well and truly underway.
However as long as the Daytona 500 is and this one as the longest Daytona 500 race ever at 212 laps, the hectic NASCAR schedule doesn’t give the winner much time to celebrate their win. So we have listed the final results here for the Daytona 500 2023 to celebrate just a little while longer.

So congratulations to Ricky Stenhouse Jr for his third career win (and first since 2017) and his first Daytona 500 win and to JTG Daugherty Racing for starting the season with a bang! Logano came in second with Christopher bell coming in third, both continuing their great form from the end of last season.
Although these are unofficial results (we will mark them when they are official results), it was a good race and a great start to the season and we roll onto the Auto Club Speedway Next week.
